Beschreibung: Massives Gusseisen. Sehr frühe Stirnplatte mit biblischem Motiv (4. Buch Mose: Das Volk Isreal in der Wüste).

Sehr selten – wahrscheinlich von der Eisenhütte Altleiningen hergestellt.

Sehr guter Originalzustand.

“Very early (end of 17th or beginn of 18th century) German front fireback with bible motive: representations of the people of Israel in the desert. Furnaces with these motifs are very rare and were manufactured by the Alt leiningen eisenhütten (iron manofactory) at the beginning of the 18th century. Very good condition! Very massive and heavy! – weigth is c. 45 kg!”
