Beschreibung/Description: Sehr, sehr seltener Armlehnstuhl (Ohrensessel). Schwere, gediegene Ausführung – Hinterräder auf Rollen. Stoffbezug wurde erneuert. Das weniger aufwändig gestaltete Modell 6541 (mit runden Buchenstäben) wurde im Nov. 2011 im Auktionshaus Dorotheum um 5.600 Euro versteigert.

In May 1904, in the company magazine “Thonet Zentral Anzeiger”, two armchairs “with ears” were initially presented with catalogue numbers 1051 and 1052, later changed to 6541 and 6542. The two armchairs were manufactured in Bystritz and were placed on the market one year before Kohn’s 666 Model.” (G. Renzi)
